The Wilmington College women’s soccer team was one of 737 collegiate teams nationally in all divisions to earn the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NCSAA) team academic award for the 2011-12 academic year.

The Wilmington College women’s soccer team had their season come to an end Monday with a 2-0 loss to Ohio Northern in the quarterfinals of the 2012 Ohio Athletic Conference tournament. It was just the third time this season Wilmington failed to score in a match.

The Quakers took 10 more shots, 17-7, than Mount Union. However, the Purple Raiders made the most of their chances, posting the 3-2 victory Saturday in Ohio Athletic Conference action.
