Assistant Coach:
Allan King Jr.

Allan King Jr. is in his first season as an assistant coach with the WC women's basketball team, but the Attica, Ohio, native is no stranger to either the Lady Quakers or the Ohio Athletic Conference. A Seneca East High School and Bluffton College graduate, King was an assistant women's basketball coach at Heidelberg College the past two seasons.

"There are a lot of things that made this job attractive — coach Scheve's experience, his knowledge, the program," King said. "The setting of Wilmington was something I was looking for — a good school in a nice town. I wanted to stay in the OAC and be in a top program, and I have certainly done that."

King replaces Scott Reule, who was named head coach of the WC men's basketball team following the 2004-05 season. A former basketball and football player, King will be involved with all aspects of the women's basketball program. In addition to his on-court responsibilities, he also serves as the Lady Quakers' strength coach.
