Rausch and Woodruff named to d3hoops.com All-America Team

WILMINGTON ­ (March 24, 2003) -- Wilmington College junior forward Tara Rausch (Marysville/Fairbanks) and senior point guard Megan Woodruff (New Vienna/East Clinton) have been named third and fourth team All-Americans respectively by d3hoops.com.

Rausch, a third team selection by d3hoops.com, scored a career-high 566 points on the season, the second highest total in school history. She also had a field goal percentage of .576, second highest in WC history while pulling down a career-best 257 rebounds. She scored a career-high 38 points against Heidelberg during the season. The OAC Player of the Year ended the season with 1226 career points, good for 8th highest in school history, while her 660 career rebounds puts her seventh all time.

Woodruff, a second team All-OAC selection, ended her career as the best career free throw shooter in NCAA Division III history. She also holds the career school record in assists (580), while also having the third highest point total in school history. She holds single season records in assists, three point field goals made, three point field goals attempted and free throw percentage.
