Rausch
named an All-American Finalist
Senior
is a finalist for WBCA
(WC Press Release) ATLANTA, Ga. (March 10, 2004) -- Wilmington College
senior forward Tara Rausch (Marysville/Fairbanks) has been named
a finalist for the WBCA/Kodak All-American Team.
"On
behalf of the WBCA and our Board of Directors, I am proud to salute
the best players in the NCAA Division III women's basketball as
finalists for the Kodak/WBCA All-America Team," said WBCA CEO Beth
Bass. "I look forward to seeing which players will fill the ten
spots on our NCAA Division III Kodak/WBCA All-America Team this
year."
Rausch
was named to the Kodak/WBCA All-America Honorable Mention squad
a year ago. She leads the OAC in scoring, rebounding and blocked
shots, while currently sitting in second place in career scoring
and career rebounding.
The
NCAA Division III Kodak/WBCA All-America Women's Basketball Team
will be announced at the Division III Championship Team Banquet
on March 18, 2004 in Norfolk, Virginia by the WBCA CEO, Beth Bass
and the WBCA President, Wendy Larry.
The
Lady Quakers , 23-6 on the season, are set to tip off against Thomas
More College on Friday evening in Crestview Hills, Kentucky with
tip-off set for 7:30 p.m.
