Trio of Lady Quakers named Academic All-League

Amy Kincer named to team unanimously

(WC Press Release) TWINSBURG, Ohio (March 9, 2004) -- The Wilmington College Lady Quakers put three players on the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference squad. Amy Kincer (Englewood/Northmont) was named to the team unanimously, while Tara Rausch (Marysville/Fairbanks) and Siobhan Zerilla (Cincinnati/Mercy) were both honored on the squad.

Kincer, a senior education major, is averaging 12.6 points per game while pulling down 4.9 rebounds per game. She has a 3.93 grade point average after three and a half years.

Rausch, a business administration major, is the conference leader in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots. She averages 19.3 points, 11.3 rebounds and has blocked 46 shots. She is just 12 rebounds away from becoming just the third person in OAC history to score 1,000 points and pull down 1,000 rebounds in her career.

Zerilla, a sports management major with a 3.83 grade point average, is third on the team in scoring with 8.9 points per game while pulling down 10.6 rebounds per game, good for second in the OAC.

The Lady Quakers have advanced to the NCAA "Sweet 16" for the third consecutive season, and will face off against Thomas More in the Great Lakes Championship game in Crestview Hills, Kentucky with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m.
