Trio of Lady Quakers earn OAC honors

Tara Rausch named first team All-League

[All-OAC Squad]

(WC Press Release) TWINSBURG, Ohio (March 2, 2004) -- A trio of Wilmington College Lady Quakers were honored by the Ohio Athletic Conference following the conference tournament championship game on Saturday.

Senior forward Tara Rausch (Marysville/Fairbanks) was named First Team All-League, while Siobhan Zerilla (Cincinnati/Mercy) was named Second Team All-OAC while senior guard Amy Kincer (Englewood/Northmont) was named to the Honorable Mention squad.

Rausch averaged 19.3 points and 11.3 rebounds, both conference highs, for the Lady Quakers.

Zerilla averaged 10.8 rebounds per game, good for second in the OAC, while scoring 9.2 points per game.

Kincer averaged 12.1 points per game while pulling down 4.6 rebounds and blocking 24 shots, good for second on the squad.

The Lady Quakers are currently 21-6 overall and are set to face off against Albion College in the First Round of the NCAA Division III National Tournament on Wednesday, with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m.
