Kincer and Rausch earn Academic Honors

Seniors named to Academic All-District squads

(WC Press Release) Wilmington, Ohio (February 20, 2004) -- Wilmington College seniors Amy Kincer (Englewood/Northmont) and Tara Rausch (Marysville/Fairbanks) have been named to the CoSida Academic All-District squad.

Kincer earned second team honors while Rausch was named to the third team.

Kincer, the education major with a 3.93 grade point average, is putting up 12.2 points per game while pulling down 4.7 rebounds for the 17-6 Lady Quakers.

Rausch, the reigning OAC Player of the Year, was named to the third team with her 3.32 grade point average in business administration and accounting. She is averaging a conference-best 19.5 points, 11.2 rebounds and 1.48 blocks per game.

The Lady Quakers are currently 17-6 overall and are 13-4 in the OAC. Their next game is on Saturday, February 21, when the team hosts the Student Princes of Heidelberg College starting at 3:00 p.m.
