Tara Rausch named to d3hoops.com National Team of the Week

Senior averages 24.5 points and 12.5 rebounds over week

(WC Press Release) Wilmington, OH (January 14, 2004) -- Wilmington College senior forward Tara Rausch (Marysville/Fairbanks) has been named to the d3hoops.com National Team of the Week for the week ending January 10.

The senior averaged 24.5 points and 12.5 rebounds, while blocking a career-high four shots against Mount Union on Saturday.

Rausch is currently just 25 points away from 1,500 for her career, as she is leading the conference in scoring with 20.8 points per game. She is also averaging 10.3 rebounds per game, good for second in the league, and is the only player in the OAC averaging a double-double on the season.

The Lady Quakers are currently 9-3 overall and 5-1 in the OAC. The team is receiving votes in both the d3hoops.com Top 25 Poll and the ESPN/USA Today/WBCA Coaches Poll.
