WILMINGTON, Ohio — Wilmington College junior post Kelly Peters has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.Peters, a junior from Spencerville, scored 57 points and pulled down 26 rebounds in the Lady Quakers' two games in the Fred Raizk Memorial Tournament.

On Saturday, Peters posted her first double-double at WC, scoring a career high 24 points and collecting a personal best 12 rebounds in the Lady Quakers' 96-85 win over Bethany College.

On Sunday, Peters set new career highs in points and rebounds with 33 and 14, respectively, in the Lady Quakers' 88-75 loss to DePauw University in the championship game.

For the two games, Peters shot a blazing 76 percent from the field, connecting on 22-of-29 field goal attempts.

Peters and WC sophomore forward Katie Streck (Dayton/Carroll) were named to the All-Tournament Team.
