What is Dance Marathon?
Dance Marathon is a continuous, multi-hour event on college campuses. It blends dancing, music, games, food and a variety of entertainment into one experience where students raise money for kids treated at their Children’s Miracle Network hospital. The goal is not to see who can dance the longest, but for everyone to finish and have a good time.
What is Children’s Miracle Network?
Children’s Miracle Network is an international non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for and awareness of children’s hospitals.
Children’s Miracle Network’s founding pledge, to keep all donations in the area in which they were raised, remains at the core of its philosophy.
Children’s Miracle Network has also evolved to become the dominant organization actively providing better healthcare for millions of children through its associated hospitals. The 170 children’s hospitals affiliated with Children’s Miracle Network represent the premier facilities in their respective communities, and some of the finest hospitals in the world.
Children’s Miracle Network provides state-of-the-art life-saving care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Each year, Children’s Miracle Network hospitals treat 17 million children for every disease and condition imaginable including cancer, pediatric AIDS, muscular dystrophy, sickle cell anemia, birth defects, asthma and accidents. One hundred percent (100%) of all locally raised funds benefit children treated at their local Children’s Miracle Network hospital. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is the region’s premier Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.
