NOLA Now: A Trip with Zeitoun
Many of us did not experience Hurricane Katrina first-hand. For a glimpse of Katrina and her horrific destruction, take a look at the New York Times interactive site showing chronological photos, day by day, of the disaster.
Take a look at Katrina through the eyes of a child. Farid Mouzai of the Univerisy of Southern Mississippi worked with child surviors to share their thoughts on Katrina via creative artwork. Take a look at this heart gripping artwork, "Seeing the storm through children's eyes."
Travis Smiley interviews New Orleans residents as they reflect on Hurricane Katrina and stereotypes surrounding Muslim faith.
Additional photos of Hurricane Katrina from the Ogden Museum of Southern Art's exhibit, "Telling Their Stories".
