Megan McDonough is the director of the Activities Programming Board, and is a member of both the Wilmington College Honors Program and Faith in Action. She is the Grand Social Chair for the Service Leader Executive Board. Megan chose Wilmington College because of how the community members and faculty truly care about both students and the learning community as a whole. As a senior this year Megan is absolutely ecstatic about the three years she has had here and for the opportunities this college has given her, such as being able to study abroad. She can't wait to get her final year underway! As a Internatuional Studies and Communication Arts major Megan plans to attend Graduate School for Broadcast Journalism, and looks forward to a long career in communications. She is truly excited to be a part of the orientation team because she wants new students to see that this college has so much to offer them and that they can take full advantage of the opportunities given to them here.

Abby Simmons is one of the Orientation office assistants, as well as the Homelessness and Awareness Chair of the Service Leader Executive Board. Abby chose to attend Wilmington College because because of the small size of both the school and student body, as well as the schools Quaker affiliation. As a sophomore, she is excited to live on campus for the first time and is super excited to meet new people. Abby is happy to be on the orientation team because it gives her a chance to meet all the incoming students. As a student with a triple major of English, spanish and education, Abby wants to teach high school Spanish or English. She is the leader of Orientation Group A.

Britney Lipps is a member of the Psi Beta Omega sorority, the Student-Alumni Association, Relay for Life and a Greek Council Member. Britney chose to come to Wilmington College because of the home-like atmoshphere. She is excited to be a part of the orientation team because she likes to meet new people and wants to give this new class a great start at WC. Britney is a Biology major with a concentration is Life Sciences and a minor in Psychology. She plans to go to medical school to hopefully become a doctor. Britney is the leader of Orientation Group B.
"Sometimes you're the windshield; sometimes you're the bug"
Katie Wisecup is the secretary of both the Activities Programming Board and the Veterinarians of Tomorrow Club. She is also a part of the Mock Trial Team, the Science Society, the Wilmington College Honors Program and the American Medical Students Association. Katie chose to attend Wilmington College because of the beautiful campus and the relationships between the faculty and students. As a junior Katie will be a second time ECO-House resident. She has a double major in Biology and Chemistry and plans to be a practicing veterinarian or become a lab researcher. Katie is glad to be a part of the orientation team so that she can help give the new students a great college experience, and meet new people. She is the leader of Orientation Group C.

Dylan Hammond is the Grow Food Grow Hope Chair for the Service Leaders Executive Board and is a summer orientation assistant. He is also a member of both the WC Mens Swim Team and Water Polo Club. Dylan chose Wilmington College because of the close environment where any person has both the ability and the resources to succeed, as well as for the quality athletic programs. As a sophomore he is looking forward to not only being a part of the new students first college experience but also to help those students to be prepared for the next four years at this amazing institution. Dylan is excited to be a part of the orientation team because it means that he can help new students to get acclimated and ready for school, while also building great new relationships. As History and Education major, Dylan plans to become a high school history teacher. He is the leader of Orientation Group D.
Friday Night Lights
Austin Anderson is a Residence Assistant, an LCA officer, and a Leadership Plunge Assistant. Austin chose Wilmington College because it is the perfect distance from home as well as it is a small school where he could continue to play football. He is excited to be a part of the orientation team because he gets to help new students settle in and become involved on campus. Austin knows that with his experience he can offer great perspective on campus activities. Austin is a Criminal Justice and Psychology major. After college he plans on joining the United States Army and then pursuing a career in federal law enforcement. Austin is the leader of Orientation Group E.
"Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass but learning too dance in the rain"
Wendy Fisher is a member of the Psychology Club and a member of The Kappa Delta Sorority. Wendy chose to attend Wilmington Collge because of the small size and it is the perfect distance from home. She double majors in Psychology and Social Work, and plans to attend grad school for Clinical Psychology. As a senior this year, Wendy is excited to be a part of the orientation team because she can help new students be more integrated on campus and to make them as comfortable as possible in this new environment. Wendy is the leader of Orientation Group F.

Meredith Budde is the Publicity Chair of the Activities Programming Board and the Adopt-A-School Chair for the Service Leaders Executive Board. She chose Wilmington College because of the small class size and the high quality education program. Meredith is excited to be a part of the orientation team because she wants to meet new people and to help prepare new students for, not only their next four years but, the rest of their lives. She is a senior Early Childhood major with a minor in Psychology and plans to be an elementary school teacher. Meredith is the leader of the Orientation Group G.

Alec Hutzelman is a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and a member of the WC Baseball Team. Alec chose to come to Wilmington College because of the small class size and the home-like feeling the school gives off. Getting ready to start his sophomore year Alec is excited to be a part of the orientation team because it gives him a chance to meet all of the new students and get them ready for college life. As an Early Childhood Education major, Alec plans to be an elementary school teacher. He is the leader of Orientation Group H.

Katie Bennett is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. Katie came to Wilmington College because of the prestigious Athletic Training program as well as the home-like feeling that this school gives off. She is excited to be a part of the oriention team because she enjoys helping others and cannot wait to meet the new freshmen. As a sophomore Athletic Training and Sports Management, major Katie plans to go to grad school to study Athletic Training or Kinesiology and become an AT for a professional sports team. Katie is the leader of Orientation Group I.
"Find a place inside where there's joy, and the joy will burn out the pain"
Lex Mitchell chose to come to Wilmington College because of the high quality Athletic Training program as well as it being close to home. She is truly excited to be a part of the orientation team because she wanted to be able to help incoming freshman get settled in and feel at home while also improving her leadership skills and still being able to help others. Lex is about to start her sophomore year as an Athletic Training major with a minor in Sport Psychology and plans to work as a high school athletic trainor and move on to the professional level. Lex is the leader of Orientation Group J.

Nina Veite is the President of the WC Science Society, The American Chemical Society (Student Chapter), and the American Medical Student Association. She is also a member of the WC Womens Cross-Country Team. Nina chose Wilmington College because of the Quaker affiliation, the small class size and the ability to get involved. She is excited to be a part of the orientation team because it will be nice to meet the incoming class and to help them both adjust to college life and set them up for success. As a sophomore, Nina will be a first year ECO-House resident. She double majors in Chemistry and Biology and plans to attend medical school. NIna is the leader of Orientation Group K.

Lisa Harden is a member of the WC Equestrian team and the Veterinarians of Tomorrow Club. She chose Wilmington College because of the small class size, the home-like atmosphere and the distance from home. Lisa is very excited to begin her sophomore year with being part of the orientation team. She is glad to be a part of the team because she is really looking forward too helping new students get aquainted with other students as well as with the college. Lisa is a Biology major with a minor in Equine Science and plans to one day open up her own animal boarding facility or become a veterinarian. Lisa is the leader of Orientation Group L.

Brad Montgomery is a member of the Psycology Club and Tau Kappy Beta Fraternity, as well as being a fitness trainer.He chose to go Wilmington College because it was close to home and due to the scholarship money he recieved from the school. Brad is truly excited to be a member of the orientation team because he wants to assist and support new students and help them become future leaders. Brad is a junior criminal justice and psychology major and plans to rejoin the military while working towards his dream of opening up his own fitness gym. Brad is the leader of Orientation Group M.
"Well behaved women seldom make history"
Paige Newman is a member of the WC Chorale and Community Choir. She chose to come to Wilmington College because of the distance from home, the beautiful campus and the relationship between students and faculty. Paige is excited to be a part of the orientation team because she wants to help make the transition between high school and college life smoother for the incoming class. She is an English major and plans to work for a non-profit organization. Paige is the leader of Orientation Group N.
"I can do all this through him who gives me strength"
Chelsea Simpson is the President of the Service Leaders Executive Board, the President of Chi Alpha, a Resident Assistant, a member of Faith in Action, President's Office Student Assistant, Center for Service and CIvic Engagement Student Assistant and the WC Womens Swim Team. She chose Wilmington College because it made her feel at home; everyone was very nice and it just felt like a perfect fit. Chelsea is ecstatic to be a part of the orientation team because she loves meeting new people, she loves seeing new students come out of their shells and enjoys seeing the growth they make over their first year. Chelsea is an Early Childhood major and plans to become an elementary school teacher. Chelsea is the leader of Orientation Group O.
"We think too much, and feel too little"
Robert Madison is a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, a Resident Assistant, and an IT Help Desk Assistant. Robert Chose Wilmington because of its' accepting nature and the fact that this school embraces diversity. He is excited to be a part of the orientation team because of how he will be able too influence new students to become leaders. Robert is a Business Administration major with a concentration in Marketing. After college he plans to own his own non-profit organization to help the Northeastern Ohio. Robert is the leader of Orientation Group P.
"Why settle for less when you can have so muchmore"
Bekah Muchmore is a member of the Educational Theatre Company, the WC Chorale, the Honors Program, and the Theatre Program. She also is the President of the Delta Omega Theta Sorority, the Vice President of Public Relations for the Student Government Association, and the Vice President of the Order of Omega Gospel Choir. Bekah chose Wilmington College because of the home-like feeling, the great student-faculty relationship, and at WC you are more than just a number. She is excited to be a part of the orientation team because she wants to meet the new students and help them to have a great freshman experience. Bekah is a senior with a major in communications with a focus in public relations and journalism; with a minor in music. She plans to do public relations work for camps as well as be involved with the aid of under privileged children in inner cities. Bekah is the leader of Orientation Group Q.

Justin Straight is a transfer student and is a fitness trainer. He chose Wilmington College to finish his college career because of the small town atmosophere as well as it being close to home. Justin is very happy to be a part of the orientation team because it will help him meet new people and help to get new students accustomed to college life. As a junior this year Justin is an education major and plans to be a science teacher and become a personnal trainer. Justin is the leader of Orientation Group R.

Tina Ledington was a Summer Associate for Grow Food Grow Hope and a Crew member at Sodexo. Tina chose to come to Wilmington College because it is close to home. She is excited to be a part of the orientation team because she can help incoming transfer students by relating to them through past experiences. Tina is a Social Work and Communications major and plans to become a Social Worker. TIna is the leader of Orientation Group T.
