Welcome to the Web page of the Hundred Club of the Sigma Zeta Alumni Association. The Hundred Club is a vehicle for supporting the Active Chapter of the fraternity. In the past, gifts to the Hundred Club have been used for capital improvements to the fraternity house, such as new siding, a new barn, a fence around the property, new carpeting and flooring, paint, front door, etc. In fact, more than $8,000 in gifts to the Hundred Club made between January and March 2007 resulted in paying off the mortgage to the Sig house — a milestone in the life of the fraternity. (Hundred Club funds ARE NOT used to sponsor fraternity parties or other social events, as those endeavors are independently financed by the Active Chapter.)
We express our appreciation to those who have supported their fraternity through gifts to the Hundred Club and we extend an invitation to those that may be considering this. Gifts of $100 or more constitute annual Full Member status in the Hundred Club, however, gifts of all sizes are greatly appreciated and those able to give less than $100 are considered Hundred Club Associate Members.
In 2007, the Hundred Club and Alumni Association are soliciting monetary gifts for two important areas: (1) the traditional fund for upkeep and improvements to the fraternity house and (2) funding the Charlie Hart Memorial Sigma Zeta Scholarship, which was established at Wilmington College in 2006. When fully funded, the scholarship will be awarded to a worthy Sig each year.
• Gifts to the Hundred Club should be made payable to "Sigma Zeta Alumni Association Hundred Club" and sent to Hundred Club Treasurer: Chris Case, 241 E. Peach Orchard Ave., Dayton, OH 45419.
• Gifts to the Charlie Hart Memorial Sigma Zeta Scholarship, which are tax deductible, should
made payable to "Wilmington College" with the notation "Charlie Hart Memorial Sigma Zeta Scholarship" and mailed to: Wilmington College, Office of College Advancement, Pyle Center Box 1307, 1870 Quaker Way, Wilmington, OH 45177.
