All WC alumni are invited to a hog roast dinner at the Sig House following the football game Saturday, Oct. 11, as the tradition of "Fifth Quarter" is renewed at Homecoming.

Drivers Fore Survivors is a fundraising golf outing organized three years ago by Ben "Lloyd" Montgomery to raise money and awareness for pediatric brain cancer. It is scheduled for Sept. 29, 2008.

Sigma Zeta crossed its largest group of new actives since the 2001 pledge season with nine new members joining the fraternity mid-way through the final week of pledge season. Formal crossover ceremonies were held March 3.

Founders' Night has been set for Saturday, April 12. While we anticipate having a full day of activities (golf, lunch at the House, banquet and party), the banquet will feature a social hour from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by dinner.

Founders’ Night 2007 held additional meaning this year as the Sigma Zeta Alumni Association burned the mortgage for the Sig House.

While Sigma Zeta didn’t “three-peat” as Fraternity of the Year, it was recognized in a number of other areas at WC’s Greek Awards Night in April. First of all, Sigma Zeta is the 2007 Greek Games Champion! Unfortunately the traveling trophy was allegedly “lost” by the Gobblers, who won in 2006.

This May's Wilmington College Commencement had a distinctly Sigma Zeta flavor as honorary degrees were presented to a pair of fraternity alumni. Also, Sigs were again center stage during Alumni Weekend in June.
