SAAC names Topp weekly winner

The Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee named women's basketball senior LeAnn Topp as its Player of the Week, for the week ending January 27.
Topp (New Bremen, OH/New Bremen) recorded back-to-back doubles as the Lady Quakers went 2-0 last week. She averaged 16 points and 11.5 rebounds in becoming the first WC women's basketball player since the 2010-2011 season to earn the Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week award.
In recognition of his accomplishments, she will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and her photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in the lobby of Hermann Court.
The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
