Fisher, Wicks co-SAAC POWs

For the first time this season, the Wilmington College Student-Athlete Advisory Board has announced co-SAAC Player of the Week as senior Sara Fisher (volleyball) and junior Dan Wicks (men's soccer) have earned the award.
Wicks (Cincinnati, OH/Reading) was recently moved to the midfield, and his presence helped the Quakers post the 1-0 victory. Technically, it was his penalty kick, however, his play in the midfield was the catalyst.
Fisher (London, OH/Madison Plains) was instrumental in Wilmington's four-set victory over Earlham.
In recognition of the accomplishments, they will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and their photos and list of accomplishments will be displayed in the lobby of Hermann Court.
The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
