Remembering September 11

Individuals and groups around the country are hosting a variety of peaceful events to remember the events of September 11.
- July 25 through September 2 - September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows "Stonewalk" from Boston to New York City, pulling a 1,400 pound granite memorial inscribed with the words "Unknown Civilians Killed in War." To learn more, visit www.peacefultomorrows.org.
- September 10 - 3rd Annual Vigil for September 11 begins at 7 p.m. at the Clifton Avenue (Cincinnati) Mosque, and moves to the Clifton United Methodist Church after 9:30 p.m. The vigil will continue overnight, with prayers beginning at about 8:30 a.m. Email Steve Sunderland for more information.
- September 11 - 3rd Annual Interfaith Peace Walk will start at 10 a.m. at the Clifton Avenue (Cincinnati) Mosque, and will end at the University of Cincinnati's Main Street. Email Steve Sunderland for more information.
