Wilmington College will host an Ohio Athletic Conference Basketball Tournament doubleheader Monday night.

The No. 6 seed Lady Quakers will face No. 7 John Carroll at 6 p.m., and the No. 5 seed Wilmington men will host No. 8 Otterbein at 8.

Ticket prices for the doubleheader are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and $3 for non-OAC students. Ohio Athletic Conference students will be admitted free of charge. No passes will be accepted.

Both games will be rubber games between teams that split their regular-season encounters.

The Lady Quakers dropped a 71-68 decision at John Carroll Jan. 7, and posted a 61-58 win over the Blue Streaks at Fred Raizk Arena Feb. 11.

“We know each other very well. We have played each other 80 minutes so far this season and the score is tied. We know we are going to have to be at our best on Monday,” Wilmington head coach Jerry Scheve said. “The home team was in control of both games until the end. Up there, we made a good run on them late and they did the same to us down here. We know we will have to play 40 solid minutes of basketball to win.”

The Quaker men are coming off a 68-65 loss at Otterbein Saturday night. Wilmington was a 73-64 winner over the Cardinals at Raizk Arena Jan. 14.

“This is going to be a personal challenge, a game that determines how much personal pride we have,” Wilmington head coach K.C. Hunt said. “We just got beat by a team and now we’re going back to our place. Are we going to take the challenge or not? We’ll see which team shows up.”
