Teacher Education Students Honored for Completing Student Teaching

WC faculty, administrators, school supervisors and cooperating teachers recognized more than two-dozen Wilmington College seniors that successfully completed their student teaching experience.

The Education Department hosted a reception Nov. 17 in honor of those students, who are now teaching licensure candidates.

They shared highlights of their field experience in elementary, middle and high schools, while many of their supervisors and cooperating teachers also lauded then as well on the way to successful careers as educators.

The seniors, who are on track to graduate in December or May include: Lindsay Butler, Wanda Carter, Jomelle Clawson, Samantha Climer, Darlyne Crawford, Lisa Deis Coe, Amber Fetherolf, Dylan Givens, Aaron Goebel, Rebakah Hacker, Rachel Herman, Jake Hofer, Ben Lynch, Brett McEvoy, Jeremy Olaker, Cayleb Paulino, Aaron Pohly, Becky Russell, Erica Sheeley, Holly Sheets, Melissa Teets, Resa Test, Brianna Trubee, Alyssa West and Kaitlyn Wilson.
