Wilmington College’s Hal Shunk will open Harcum Art Gallery’s 2013-14 season with an exhibit of his most recent works from Sept. 10 through Oct. 19.

Shunk, a professor of art, has been a WC faculty member since 1988.

His exhibit will be followed by Mary Beth Thorngren’s show, which runs from Oct. 24 through Dec. 14.

During the spring 2014 semester, an exhibit featuring works by Chuck Mintz will run from Jan. 23 through March 8. Also, Ivan Schiefferdecker and Lauren Notheisen will present an exhibit of their works in a two-person show running from March 13 through April 26.

Capping off the school year will be the Senior Thesis Exhibit featuring works by senior art students, running April 30 through May 10.

Opening night receptions will be held for all shows, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the gallery. Normal gallery hours are weekdays, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and by special appointment arranged through Shunk, the gallery curator.
