Fields named SAAC POW

Wilmington men's soccer player Drew Fields (Terrace Park, OH/Mariemont) has added to his weekly award haul earning the WC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Player of the Week nod. This coming a day after he was named Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Fields netted the laurels after single-handedly helping the men's soccer team post the 3-2 overtime victory over Mount Union Saturday. He scored twice, including the equalizer with one minute remaining, then assisted on the game-winner in the second overtime.

In recognition of his accomplishments, he will receive a T-shirt from SAAC, and his photo and list of accomplishments will be displayed in the lobby of Hermann Court.

The Student Athlete Advisory Committee is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight about the student-athlete experience. SAAC protects student-athlete interests and provides a positive image of student-athletes.
