College to Host Family Farm Succession Planning Seminar
Feb. 28 Event to Feature Legal Experts on Intergenerational Farm Transfer

As the population of family farmers grows older, a frequent question comes up regarding how best to transfer ownership of the property in the coming years.
Wilmington College is hosting a planning seminar and luncheon titled “Intergenerational Transfer: Family Farm Succession” Feb. 28, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the McCoy Room of Kelly Center on College St.
The day’s itinerary will include registration from 9:30 to 10 a.m., the presentation and lunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a panel discussion and question/answer session from 2 to 3 p.m.
Paul Wright and Robert Moore will be the featured presenters and Bill Peelle, Laura Curliss and Krista Magaw will join then for the panel discussion.
The presentation is free of charge with a $5 charge for lunch. Seating is limited so reservations are required and can be made by contacting WC’s Office of Advancement at (937) 382-6661 by Feb. 24.
