A large multigenerational cast is set for Wilmington College-Community Summer Theatre’s production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s dynamic musical Evita.
The show will run July 15, 16, 17, 22, 23 and 24, at 7:30 p.m., in WC’s Hugh Heiland Theatre in the Oscar F. Boyd Cultural Arts Center.

“She was one of the most glamorous and dynamic women of the 20th century,” he said. “Her story as told by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber remains one that fascinates with its mixture of truth, myth, political and social blind ambition, iconic imagery, intrigues and bizarre speculation.”

Donald Clinton Jr., Mark Lunsford, Bryan Wallingford and Justin DuVall are cast as Peronist officers.
Principal dancers include: Rachel Beck, Drew Blakeman, Mark Lunsford, Max Monnig, Emily Moroney, Caeleb Reisinger, Tonja Ruther, Elizabeth Verespie and Katie Schaad.
