Brookhart, Tapp commit to WC

July 29, 2013

Wilmington College head volleyball and softball coach Beth Floyd has announced another wave of recruits for her respective teams. All recruits have all made their deposits and completed their student-athlete information forms.

Floyd has added Catlin Pauley and Jessica Tapp to her list of volleyball recruits. Pauley, a Riverdale product, was the school’s two-time offensive player of the year and a two-time North Central Conference selection. In addition, she was the Fostoria Area all-star selection after leading the Falcons with 165 kills.

Tapp doesn’t have to stray too far from her as she comes to Wilmington from Clinton-Massie High School. The Falcons were two-time Clinton County Tournament champions, and won the South Central Ohio League in her senior season.

Floyd has also announced Lindsay Brookhart will continue her softball career with the Quakers. Brookhart comes to Wilmington from Miami East High School, where she was a first-team All-Miami County. In her four years with the Vikings, they were three-time regional semifinalists and her class finished with the most win in Miami East history.

The Quakers are coming off the best season in school history.
