Quakers' games with Pitt-Bradford, La Roche postponed

Heavy rains in Wilmington have forced the cancellation of a pair of baseball doubleheaders this weekend.

The Quakers’ Saturday games with Pitt-Bradford and Sunday games with La Roche have been washed out, Wilmington head coach Tony Haley said.

“With the rain we have already had and the additional rain in the forecast, there is just no way we could have our diamond ready to play this weekend,” Haley said.

The Quakers will return to action 6 p.m. Tuesday with a non-conference game against Mount St. Joseph at University of Cincinnati.
