Dear Sig Alumni:
I send greetings on behalf of the Active Chapter of the Sigma Zeta Fraternity. I’d like to provide you with information on Sigma Zeta’s 96th annual Founders’ Night with the Active Chapter’s wish that you will be able to attend.
Founders’ Night 2012 will be Saturday, March 24, at the Elks Lodge, 2567 Rombach Ave., in Wilmington. The cost is $35. Please include your check when you return your reservation form. We need to know by March 15 if you’re able to attend. The cash bar reception will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner following at 6:45 p.m.
The evening’s program will include information on the state of the Fraternity and aspirations for the future from our incoming president, in addition to comments from several alumni. The Hundred Club has some exciting news to report as well. Also, we will introduce our New Actives to you and hold the annual auction of Sigma Zeta items. There will be plenty of time to catch up with your Brothers. Following the dinner program, everyone is invited to get together at the Sig House with the Kappas.
(NOTE: if you’re in town early, stop by the house Saturday afternoon between 1 and 2 p.m. for burgers & hot dogs. Also, if you’re interested in playing golf Saturday, contact Bryan Bogard at (513) 435-1486.
I feel 2011-12 has been another outstanding year in the history of the Sigma Zeta Fraternity. It’s important that all our Actives have an opportunity to meet and learn from the alumni who built Sigma Zeta. We believe Sigma Zeta is thriving today because of the foundation laid by those who went before us—you!
I hope you will consider joining us for Founders’ Night ’12.
David “Windex” Evans
2012 Sigma Zeta President
