1976 Sig Alum Dies Unexpectedly

Steve Whiteside Worked in Atlantic City Casino Industry

Steven L. Whiteside, 55, died unexpectedly Nov. 7. He was a 1976 Wilmington College alumnus and member of Sigma Zeta. He was vice president of hotel operations at Caesar's Casino in Atlantic City, N.J.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, and two sons.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 12, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Wimberg Funeral Home, 211 E. Great Creek Road, Galloway, N.J. 08205 (609-645-0001), followed by a memorial service at 7 p.m.

Two scholarship funds have been established in his name, including the Steve Whiteside ACHLA Scholarship, 151 S.
