Quakers fall to Heidelberg

Josh Kincaid and the Quakers were topped by Heidelberg.
LEXINGTON — Wilmington College dropped a 9-0 road decision to Heidelberg University in Ohio Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon.
The loss drops the Quakers to 0-4 in OAC play, 0-7 overall. Heidelberg improves to 2-1 in the conference, 7-3 for the season.
The Berg took control of the match early by sweeping play in the three doubles matches. Justin Arehart (Wilmington) and Josh Kincaid (Loveland/Goshen) dropped an 8-3 decision to Bobby Lochotzki and Cliff Goetz at the No. 1 position.
Arehart and Kincaid were also involved in the tightest singles matches.
Arehart lost to Lochotzki, 6-1, 6-3 at No. 1.
At the No. 3 spot, Kincaid was defeated by Patrick Ryan, 6-0, 6-3.
In other singles play, Connor LaVelle (Athens) lost to Goetz at No. 2.
At No. 4, Killian Cummings (Cincinnati/Colerain) was defeated by Zach Schwenning.
Cullen Corcoran (Wilmington/Clinton-Massie) dropped his No. 5 singles match to
Dorion Kempf.
At No. 6, Jon Asher (Loveland/Goshen) was defeated by Matthew McDivitt.
