WILMINGTON – The Wilmington College Quakers claimed the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season title with a 0-0 tie in Berea on Saturday evening in a blustery October evening.

The teams combined for just 16 shots in 110 minutes of action, with the Yellow Jackets out-shooting the Quakers 10-6. WC held the advantage in corner kicks 7-3.

Justin Saylor of Wilmington and Nate Christian of Baldwin-Wallace each played the entire game for the shutout, with Saylor picking up three saves and Christian two.

With the tie, the Quakers go to 14-2-2 on the season and 7-1-1 in the OAC while Baldwin-Wallace improves to 14-4-1 overall and 5-3-1 in league play.

The Quakers play on Wednesday in the first round of the OAC Tournament, with the game to be played at Charlie Gilhart Field on the campus of Wilmington College, where they will face off against the Yellow Jackets with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m.
