Garman named Co-OAC Player of the Week

Sophomore scores three goals and dishes out three assists

(WC Press Release) WILMINGTON, Ohio (September 21, 2004) — Wilmington College sophomore midfielder Chad Garman (Dayton/Chaminade-Julienne) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Week for the week ending September 19.

Garman scored three goals and dished out three assists as the team went 3-0 during the week. Included in those victories was a 3-1 victory over then-sixth ranked Ohio Wesleyan University and back-to-back wins, securing the Wilmington College Kiwianis Soccer Classic Championship. He was also named the Most Valuable Offensive Player of the Classic.

For the year, Garman has a team-high six goals in his seven games while also dishing out three assists, tied for the team high.

The Quakers, currently 5-1-1 on the season, face off against 14th ranked Transylvania University on Wednesday afternoon, with kickoff set for 4:00 p.m. in Lexington, Kentucky.
