LITTLETON WARD
DEFENSIVE BACKS/RECRUITING COORDINATOR

Littleton Ward begins his first season as defensive backs coach with the Green and White, bringing an extensive history as player and coach at the position.

Ward was a three-year starter in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) at defensive back for the University of Kentucky. He was named Academic All-SEC, leading the team as a captain in 1997. He was also a member of the 1997 National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) All-America Team. He also had tryouts in both the Arena Football League and the Canadian Football League following his playing career.

After graduating from Kentucky in 1999, he worked as the defensive backs coach for Ryle High School in Union, Kentucky in 2000 and 2001. 2002 brought him to Kent State University, where he served as a graduate assistant working with defensive backs in 2002 and with quarterbacks and wide receivers in 2003. With his masterıs degree in Sports Management from Kent State, he brought his talents to Division III, as he was the defensive backs coach for Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

The Elementary Education degree holder was also a member of the track and field team at Kentucky, and coached track at Bryan Station High School for two years. ³Littleton brings the most expertise we have ever had at the defensive back position,² said Wulf. ³He is a coach that knows the techniques, knows the defense and will be a great leader for the kids.²

He is also the CEO of Speed Kills, Inc. an organization focused on preparing and teaching athletes to perform at a higher level.

He, his wife Taleesa and their two kids, Kayla and Littleton reside in Lebanon, Ohio.
