OLMY OLMSTEAD
LINEBACKERS

Olmstead is in his second year as an assistant coach with the Quaker football program. He will assist defensive coordinator Brian Yauger in coaching the linebackers, in addition to serving as the academic coordinator.

The 2004 graduate of Wabash (IN) College, Olmstead was a four-year letterwinner as a kicker for the nationally ranked Little Giants football team.

He ended his career becoming just one of three kickers in the history of Wabash College to successfully kick 100 extra points in a career, while holding the school record for most extra points converted in a game, with nine.

³Olmy does a great job and the kids respect him,² said the head coach. ³He was a great player in his own right, and going into his second year, he is becoming a tremendous asset for the staff.²

Olmstead, a straight-on kicker, currently has his square-toe kicking shoe on display at the NCAA Hall of Champions in an educational display because of his unusual kicking style.

He currently resides in Wilmington.
