JOHN MOORE
FOOTBALL TECHNICAL SYSTEMS COORDINATOR

John Moore returns to the Quakers for his fourth consecutive year with the Wilmington College coaching staff.

Moore was also a Wilmington assistant coach throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

His knowledge of the game was put to use on the defensive side of the ball, where he coached everything from defensive backs to linebackers.

He was on staff for the Quakersı 1980 season, when the team went 10-2 and was national runner-up.

As a player, Moore prepped at Princeton and Amelia High Schools in Cincinnati. He went on to play football and baseball at Manchester College.

His coaching career began back at Princeton High School in 1967. Moore then went to coach eight years at Glenbard West High (Ill.) and four seasons, two as head coach, at Wilmington High School.

He holds a math degree from Manchester and has his masterıs degree in secondary education.

Moore and his wife, Nancy, have two children and one grandchild. They currently reside in Wilmington.
