WILL ISAAC
RUNNING BACKS

Will Isaac returns to the Quaker sideline for his third year as an assistant coach, after lettering two years with the Quakers.

He will coach the running backs this season, a position at which he excelled for the Green and White. Isaac ended his career in 2001, becoming just the fifth running back in school history to eclipse the 1,000-yard plateau, when he ground out 1,006 in 10 games. The year before he missed the 1,000-yard plateau by just 99 yards, rushing for 991. His 1999 season was cut short due to a season-ending injury in the teamıs first game.

Behind his strong two-year rushing totals, Isaac ranks third in college history in career rushing yards with 2,191, ranks second in rushing attempts with 545 and is fourth in rushing touchdowns with 17.

³Will knows the offense inside and out,² noted the head coach. ³He is a great teacher of the running back position, and is someone that the kids will look up to.²

He holds a sports management degree from Wilmington.

He currently works for East Clinton High School. He resides in Wilmington.
