Tisdale named First Team All-American

Senior is one of four OAC players on the First Team

WILMINGTON, Ohio ‹ Wilmington College senior defensive tackle Brandon Tisdale (Wilberforce/Xenia) has been named to the D3football.com First Team All-American squad, announced in the pre-game show of the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl.

The senior recorded 51 tackles on the season, 28 of which were solo. He had 18 tackles for loss, accumulating 83 total yards while picking up eight quarterback sacks. He also had an interception and four fumble returns.

Tisdale was selected to play in the Aztec Bowl, where a Division III All-Star team takes on an All-Star team from Mexico. In the game, Tisdale had four tackles, including a quarterback sack in the USA victory.
