Tisdale named third team All-American

Junior earns Don Hansen Football Gazette Honors

(WC Press Release) Wilmington, OH (December 16, 2003) -- Wilmington College defensive tackle Brandon Tisdale (Wilberfoce/Xenia) has been named to the Don Hansen Football Gazette NCAA Division III All-America Third Team.

Tisdale, the career leader in sacks and tackles for loss after just three seasons is also the single season record holder in both statistics. He had 60 tackles in the 2003 season, a school record 25.5 tackles for loss and 11 sacks.

He also had a blocked kick, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.

The Quakers ended the 2003 season with a 2-8 record while going 2-7 in the Ohio Athletic Conference.
