(WC Press Release) Wilmington, Oh (November 3, 2003) -- Wilmington College sophomore wide receiver Ryan Howell (Mason/Mason) has been named the OAC Co-Player of the Week for his performance in the team's 34-21 loss to Ohio Northern.

The sophomore had ten catches for 137 yards and two touchdowns, all career highs, including hauling in seven passes for 66 yards and the touchdowns in the third quarter alone.

He shares the honor with ONU quarterback Jeff Soliday who completed 29-of-44 passes for 398 yards in the game to go with three touchdowns, all in the first half.

Howell is the second player in as many weeks to win the honor, as Trae Tate (Lauderdale Lakes, FL/Dillard) won the Co-Player of the Week a week ago.

The Quakers are 1-7 overall and 1-6 in the OAC going into this weeks' game against Heidelberg in Tiffin, Ohio starting at 1:00 p.m.
