Ryan Howell
named Co-Player of the Week
Sophomore
has ten catches for 137 yards and two touchdowns

Wilmington, Oh (November 3, 2003) -- Wilmington College sophomore
wide receiver Ryan Howell (Mason/Mason) has been named the OAC Co-Player
of the Week for his performance in the team's 34-21 loss to Ohio
Northern.
The sophomore
had ten catches for 137 yards and two touchdowns, all career highs,
including hauling in seven passes for 66 yards and the touchdowns
in the third quarter alone.
He shares the
honor with ONU quarterback Jeff Soliday who completed 29-of-44 passes
for 398 yards in the game to go with three touchdowns, all in the
first half.
Howell is the
second player in as many weeks to win the honor, as Trae Tate (Lauderdale
Lakes, FL/Dillard) won the Co-Player of the Week a week ago.
The Quakers
are 1-7 overall and 1-6 in the OAC going into this weeks' game against
Heidelberg in Tiffin, Ohio starting at 1:00 p.m.
