Tisdale named First Team Pre-Season All-American

Senior earns d3football.com honor

(WC Press Release) WILMINGTON, Ohio (July 22, 2004) -- Wilmington College senior defensive tackle Brandon Tisdale (Wilberforce/Xenia) has been named to the d3football.com Pre-Season All-America First Team.

Tisdale was one of two Ohio Athletic Conference members on the first team, and one of three overall. Tisdale ended the 2003 season with 25.5 tackles for loss to go with 11 sacks and two fumble recoveries.

WC's All-Time leader in tackles for loss and sacks is also fourth in NCAA Division III history in each of those statistics.

The Quakers open their 2004 season in Delhi, Ohio as they face off against the Lions of Mt. St. Joseph with kickoff set for 1:30 p.m.
