Stirling named Co-OAC Player of the Week

WILMINGTON, Ohio — Senior Wilmington College forward Eric Stirling was selected Ohio Athletic Conference co-Player of the Week for games played Dec. 12 through 17. He shares the honor with Tori Davis a junior from Baldwin-Wallace, who scored 47 points last week.

Stirling (Brooklyn N.Y./LaSalle Academy) averaged 23 points, eight rebounds, four assists and 2.5 steals as the Quakers posted wins over Ohio Wesleyan and Marietta.

He shot 67 percent from the field, making 20-of-30 field goal attempts. In his career-high 25-point performance against the Battling Bishops,

Stirling connected on four-of-four three-pointers. He followed that performance with 21 points and 10 rebounds in Wilmington's 115-79 win over Marietta.
