TWINSBURG — Wilmington College senior forward Eric Stirling has been named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference Second Team.

Stirling (Brooklyn, N.Y./LaSalle Academy) was a major contributor in Wilmington's landmark 20-7 season. He became the first WC men's player to be named OAC Player of the Week twice in the same season.

Stirling was among the OAC's leaders in every major statistical category. He ranked fourth in scoring (17.1 ppg), seventh in rebounding (6.2), sixth in steals (1.7), eighth in blocked shots (0.74) and 12th in assists (2.5). He also became WC's first-ever representative to the OAC All-Tournament Team as the Quakers reached the semifinals for the first time since joining the conference in 2000.

Stirling helped the Quakers reach the 20-win plateau for the first time in team history and pick up their first-ever OAC Tournament win in their first-ever home OAC Tournament game. For the first time in program history, the Quakers also attained their first-ever national ranking at No. 17.

In the coaches' voting, Baldwin-Wallace junior forward Tori Davis was named OAC Player of the Year and B-W head coach Tom Bankson edged first-year Wilmington College head coach Scott Reule to receive Coach of the Year honors.
