Coach Haley enters his ninth season at the helm of the WC baseball team. His philosophy on baseball is hitting wins games and pitching wins championships.
Haley earned OAC Coach-of-the-Year honors in 2005 after leading Wilmington to a 22-15 record and the team's first-ever OAC Tournament appearance.
In addition, the 2005 Quakers ranked first in the OAC and 14th nationally with a .348 team batting average. For the fourth consecutive season, the Quakers finished above the .500 mark in 2005 and also recorded their second 20-plus win season in three years.
In 2003, Haley led the Quakers to a 24-14 record. The .632 winning percentage ranked third on the school's all-time single season list and the 24 wins are the highest total in Haley's tenure.
In 2002, Haley led Wilmington to a 19-18 finish marking the program's first winning season since 1992. Bouncing back from a 7-30 record in 2001, the team had the fifth-best turnaround among all NCAA programs.
Overall, Haley's career record at Wilmington stands at 138-151-1 (.478).
Away from the field, Haley works for the Ohio Department of Transportation and has umpired baseball for over 25 years.
Tony resides in Wilmington with his wife Pam. they have three children; Ryan, Parker and Kelli Jo.

In 2008, Aaron Lawson enters his third season as assistant for the Quakers.
A four-year starter at first base for the Quakers, the 2004 graduate earned second-team All-OAC honors in 2001 and 2002, first-team All-OAC honors in 2003 and honorable mention All-OAC in 2004.
Following the 2004 season, Lawson was named to the Rawlings All-Mid-East Region Team and was awarded the Fred Raizk award for “Best Male Athlete” at Wilmington College.
Lawson, a two-year captain, also was a member of the Academic All-OAC team for four consecutive seasons from and served as the team's SAAC representative.
Lawson received a B.S. in education from Wilmington College in 2004. He currently resides in Wilmington and teaches mathematics at Blanchester High School.

Blake Haley enters his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Wilmington baseball program.
The Quakers finished with a record of 22-15 in his first season and advanced to the OAC tournament for the first time in school history.
In his three seasons at Wilmington, the Quakers' record is 54-53.
Haley graduated from Ohio University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in public relations. He currently resides in Wilmington and is employed as the sports editor at the Xenia Daily Gazette.
