Aaron
Lawson
The
2006 season will be the first for the former Wilmington first-basemen.
A four-year starter at first base for the Quakers, the 2004 graduate
earned 2nd team All-OAC honors in 2001 and 2002 and 1st Team All-OAC
honors in 2003 and Honorable Mention All-OAC in 2004. Following the
2004 season, Lawson was named to the Rawlings All-Mid-East Region Team
and was awarded the Fred Raizk award for Best Male Athlete at Wilmington
College. Lawson, a two-year captain, was also a member of the Academic
All-OAC team for four consecutive seasons from 2001-2004 and also served
as the teamıs SAAC representative.
Last
season, as an assistant at Sheridan High School, he helped lead the
JV team to a 16-4 record.
Aaron
earned a B.S. in education from Wilmington College in 2004. He currently
resides in Wilmington and teaches mathematics at Blanchester High School.
