Graduate Program
While the Master’s of Education (M.Ed.) program has been suspended, Wilmington continues to offer graduate level coursework leading to the 4th/5th and reading endorsements for individuals who hold relevant teaching licenses. The 4th/5th endorsement is offered during the summer months, with separate four week sessions offered on the Wilmington and Blue Ash campuses depending on enrollment. Reading courses are offered throughout the academic year and summer sessions on the main campus in Wilmington. Some foundation and special education courses will also be offered through spring semester of 2014, primarily for the final cohort of students completing their master’s degrees, but the courses are open to non-degree seeking or special students as well. Persons interested in enrolling in these courses should check the schedules published at this website and/or contact the Graduate Studies Program at 937-382-6661, x623.

The Next Level
“WC has been a top-notch college in the field of teacher education since its founding in 1870. It was particularly appropriate that the College’s first graduate program be a master’s in education to accommodate teachers’ continuing education and development as professional educators.”
