Environmental ScienceThe environmental studies program prepares students for a career in the environmental sciences with a combination of classroom learning of key biological concepts and hands-on training through field exercises, internships, service learning and research. Small class sizes and caring faculty enhance the educational experience at Wilmington College. On campus, Wilmington College offers an arboretum, natural area, stream, greenhouses, and research farms for environmental studies. In addition, Wilmington is located centrally to many areas of ecological interest for study. Easy access to the major metropolitan areas of Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus provide a variety of additional opportunities to research and internships.
