Wilmington cheerleaders prepare for 2007-08 academic year

11-member squad to cheer at football, men's basketball games

Wilmington College's cheerleading squad is gearing up for the 2007-08 school year, with football and basketball games awaiting.

The 11-member team features seniors Robin Fille (Cincinnati/McNicholas) and Lindsay Ford-Hogan (Xenia/Benjamin Logan), juniors Ashley Floyd (Greenville), Amanda Given (Xenia) and Jennifer May (Thornville/Sheridan). Also on the squad are sophomores Cierra Arrington (Wilmington), Elizabeth McCumbers (Washington Court House/Miami Trace) and Heather Myers (Franklin), and freshmen Tiffany Cerana (Galloway/Westland), Taylor Buchanan (Wilmington) and Megan Smith (Washington Court House/Miami Trace).

The cheerleaders will perform at home and away football games and home men's basketball games.

Joni Streber begins her sixth year as cheerleading coach at Wilmington College.
