Junior Year of Athletic Training

I cannot believe how crazy the past couple of weeks have been!! They always say that first semester of your junior year is the hardest semester in the sequence in the Wilmington College Athletic Training Program, and they are right. For the past two weeks, my only bits of free time have been on the weekends. Granted, I am in the middle of writing a 15ish page term paper on cervical spine fractures, so when that is done I hope to have a little more time for additional studying and recreational activities. However as one of my professors said in class, I feel like I am being transformed into a “know-nothing-sophomore” to a “know-everything-senior”.
As far as clinical rotations go, I have moved from football to volleyball. Although I enjoyed working with the football team, it is probably my least favorite sport (outside of the athletic training setting) so it is nice for a change. So far, volleyball seems much less chaotic than football during games and practices, so it’s a good time to relax a little.
