The past few months have been crazy. I have had a heavy load of homework with classes and I have not had time to sit down and write. I just realized that there is only about a month left of school and I will soon be on summer break. I thought that I would be a bit more excited about this, but the more I think about it the more I realize that I do not want to leave for the summer. Wilmington has been a great place for me for the past two years and I am sad that I will have to go home for a few months.
Although I have been sad to think about leaving, I feel better when I think about all of the incoming freshmen who are so excited about summer because it brings them that much closer to coming to Wilmington. I love meeting freshmen who are just as excited about going to college as I was last year, and still am.
So as this blog post and this school year come to a close, I will remember not be sad. Summer brings whole new opportunities and next fall just may be the best year yet.
