Waiting for the train to the LIU campus, trying to look studious and business-like

Waiting for the train to the LIU campus, trying to look studious and business-like

What a week it has been. Sunday through Wednesday, I was in New York City for a Physical Therapy School interview with Long Island University Brooklyn. It was my first time in New York and it was definitely a different setting than Wilmington College. However, large cities appeal to me. I loved the public transportation and the diverse population of people in the city. I was constantly hearing different languages and experiencing different cultures. I think my favorite part of the city was the food; there were vegan restaurants everywhere! If you are into food at all, NYC is the place to be. The interview went very well, and the trip was a great experience. I am very hopeful that I will get to return soon. However, missing three days of class is no easy task. Today I have felt a little out of the loop and confused about the work I missed, but I hope it will all be worth it in the end! Time to get back in the swing of things.
