Hey there! My name is Paige Newman and I am a sophomore at Wilmington College. I am majoring in English and minoring in Music. I am not exactly sure what I want to do in the future, but I hope that my love of writing will lead me to a job that I enjoy, as it has led me here.
This is my second year attending Wilmington College and I am having the time of my life. I came to Wilmington College because of the small campus and the tight knit community between faculty and students. I have had the opportunity to interact with my professors on a one-on-one level, and it has been extraordinarily helpful to my learning experience. I came to Wilmington with about 50 college credits that I earned through my Post-Secondary Enrollment experience in high school. My credits easily transferred, and now I have the amount of credit hours usually held by a junior. This will put me on the fast track to getting my degree. I have been taking a lot of really cool English and Music courses, and I have really enjoyed the small class experience that Wilmington College has to offer.
I have loved my time at Wilmington College so far, and I am excited be writing for the college blog. If you have any questions about me or my experience at Wilmington College just let me know. See you next time!
