A photo of the campus I'll be interviewing at

Yesterday and today have been extremely exciting days for me. Yesterday (Friday), I was about to celebrate the end of the workweek with a bike ride when I got a call from a number I didn’t recognize from New York. I answered, and it was the call I had been waiting for. I had applied early decision to Long Island University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program, and I now have an interview on the 17th! Its crazy to think that in 8 days I am flying to NYC for an interview, and I will receive a decision from them by the 24th of September. For Physical Therapy school applications, a centralized application is used (PTCAS). Some schools participate in an Early Decision process, in which you choose your top pick school, apply very early in the process, and a decision is made early. However, it is a binding decision; if you are accepted to your early decision school, you must go. It feels great to be getting this process started so early; most interviews aren’t until spring! I am looking forward to the interview, but also exploring New York City. I have never been, and I’m sure it will be quite different than Wilmington! I love visiting cities though, so I’m sure I will love it. I’ll be sure to post about some interesting things that happen on the trip.
In music news, Arcade Fire releases their new single Monday at 9 pm. Reflektor. Don’t miss it!
